You’ve spent decades building a meaningful, accomplished career.
And now, for the first time in a long time, you’re asking a different kind of question:
Who am I without my title?
What does purpose look like now?
What is my next chapter asking of me?
If these questions feel unsettling — or even strangely quiet — you’re not alone.
Most of us are not prepared for the emotional and psychological shift that comes when the structure of work falls away.
I know this not just from research or coaching… but from lived experience.
For nearly forty years, I led teams, managed service operations, and thrived in fast-paced corporate environments. I knew how to deliver, lead, perform, and execute at a high level.
What I didn’t know was how deeply my identity was intertwined with who I was at work.
That clarity came later.
I watched my father struggle emotionally after retiring from his 40-year career. The loss of structure. The loss of routine. The sudden quiet. The question he never expected to face:
“Where do I fit now?”
His experience revealed a truth we rarely talk about:
Retirement is one of the most profound identity transitions we go through —
and most people are left to navigate it alone.
Years later, when I approached my own retirement, those memories resurfaced. I felt the gap between the version of myself the world had known and the version trying to emerge.
I knew I didn’t want a quiet fade into the background. I wanted a chapter filled with authenticity, clarity, and meaning. That realization, paired with my father’s experience, is what sparked my mission.
My Mission
I help newly retired professionals navigate the emotional and psychological side of retirement so they can rebuild:
Identity — Who am I now?
Rhythm — What does my day look like without a career?
Belonging — Where do I fit in this new season?
Purpose — What matters to me now?
Not by rushing into reinvention. Not by “staying busy.”
But by creating the reflection, clarity, and emotional grounding that allow a new version of self to rise naturally.
The work we do together is gentle, structured, evidence-informed, and deeply human.

Authentic Empowerment: Your next chapter should reflect who you truly are — not who the world expected you to be.
Grounded, Research-Informed Support: I blend emotional clarity with real-world strategy to help you navigate change with confidence and steadiness.
Personalized Reinvention Pathways: Whether through community, coaching, or future workshops, your journey is uniquely yours — and so is the support you receive.

You’ll usually find me with my tuxedo cat, Hamilton, or exploring the things that bring me joy and keep me connected to myself, including:
long walks by the bay
ancestry research and exploring my family roots
attending live theatre, concerts, and cultural experiences
continuing my path as a lifelong learner
discovering new neighborhoods and taking spontaneous day trips
staying active and grounded with regular workouts
Reinvention isn’t something I teach from a distance. It’s how I live.
I believe curiosity, reflection, and joy are essential to a fulfilling next chapter, and I bring that same energy into my work with clients.

I would be honored to support you. Retirement isn’t the end of your story — it’s the beginning of a chapter that can feel clearer, calmer, and more authentically yours.
